DESCRIPTION
Woterborne wood stain is a composition of urethane polymers and micronised pigments specifically developed for wood toning.
The wood stain is designed for decorative coloring of non-finished, sanded wooden surfaces: wooden and hardwood floors, stairs, furniture and other wooden items.

APPLICATION

PRELIMINARY WORKS:

Sand the surface with an abrasive material with a grit size of 120 — 150. Clean the floor from dust and litter using a vacuum-cleaner. It is recommended to provide the following climatic conditions: temperature from +18°С to +25°С, relative air humidity 40 — 60 %. It is necessary to ensure a good air flow during the whole application and drying process.

 

MANUAL APPLICATION
Important! Shake well before use. It is recommended to preliminary test the wood stain on a small sample or a part of sanded surface in order to see the actual finish color.

Apply the wood stain with a rubber trowel distributing it evenly on the surface. After an application rub the wood stain with rugs to the surface removing the excess. When the first layer is dry, apply the second layer in the same way. Time to dry:
When applying one layer — 4 hours.
When applying two layers:
first layer – 1 hour;
second layer – 6 hours.

 

MECHANICAL APPLICATION
Important! Shake well before use. It is recommended to test the wood stain on a small sample of grinded wood to define the surface color.

Apply the wood stain with a rubber trowel distributing it evenly on the surface. Remove the wood stain excess with cotton rags. Rub the wood stain with a single-disk white pad buffing machine. When the first layer is dried out, apply the second layer in the same way. Time to dry:
When applying one layer — 4 hours.
When applying two layers:
first layer — 1 hour;
second layer – 6 hours.

NOTE: Hard-to-reach places, unavailable for mechanical application (angles, joints), can be treated with cotton rugs or thin brush.

FLOORING CARE:
We recommend to use care products for lacquered hardwood floors.

TOOLS CLEANING:
Tools are easily cleaned with water. Remains of dry wood stain can be removed with acetone.
