DESCRIPTION
Waterborne polyurethane two-component finish for hardwood floorins Coswick F31 HIGH TRAFFIC & SPORT is used to finish hardwood flooring, cork and wooden flooring from any wood species indoors in rooms with a high traffic rate, sports halls and public facilities.

APPLICATION

PRELIMINARY WORKS:

Clean the surface from dust and impurities, make sure whether there are any spots of oil or wax to avoid finish defects. Sand the surface with an abrasive material with grit of 120 – 150. To achieve even surface and improve adhesion it is recommended to use waterbased acrylic primer for hardwood floors COSWICK F01 PRIME. When the primer layer is dry, sand the floor surface using an abrasive material with grit of 150 and remove the dust.

 
It is recommended to provide the following climatic conditions: temperature from +18 °С to +25 °С, relative air humidity 40 – 60 %. High temperature and low humidity cut the lacquer drying time, while a low temperature with high humidity increases it, thus increasing the risk of finish defects. The lowest lacquer application temperature is +15 °С.

НАНЕСЕНИЕ:
Important! Shake well before use.
Mix the lacquer components as follows: component A – 9 parts, component В – 1 part.
stir by shaking thoroughly for 1 minute and insert the filter.
Ready-to-use mixture is suitable for application within 4 hours.

Apply with an applicator roll for water-based materials or with brush. Apply the lacquer evenly to avoid pile-ups. Sand all intermediary layers. Recommended number of lacquer layers:
When using primer:
1 layer of the water-based acrylic primer for hardwood floors Coswick F01 PRIME and 2 layers of Coswick F31 HIGH TRAFFIC & SPORT lacquer.
When applying the lacquer without primer:
3 layers of Coswick F31 HIGH TRAFFIC & SPORT lacquer.		 Time to dry:
Readiness to sand/apply a new layer – 2 – 4 hours.
Light load – 24 hours.
Full load – 7 days. It is not recommended to put any carpets or furniture or use any detergents during the first week.

 

TOOLS CLEANING:
Tools are easily cleaned with water. Remains of dry lacquer can be removed with acetone.
